As June approaches, weâre excited to celebrate Pride with our vibrant community and partners across Boston! Pride is a time to honor our history, embrace our identities, and stand strong in the face of ongoing challengesâand there are so many ways to show up this year.
Join us for PIOWâsPride Celebration on June 5, a joyful evening of connection and community. Youâll also find us at Bostonâs Pride Flag Raising at City Hall on June 2nd and the Pride at the City Council event on June 4, alongside community leaders and advocates. Plus, weâre proud to uplift Black Pride events and other community partner gatherings throughout the month.

Annual PIOW Pride Celebration - Next Thursday June 5
Don't miss out on the PIOW annual Pride Celebration happening next Thursday, June 5 at Hogan Lovells. There are a few spots left, but grab them before the waitlist kicks in! City of Boston Flag Raising - June 2
Join Mayor Michelle Wu, the Mayorâs Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement (MOLA), and community partners for a vibrant Pride Kickoff and Flag Raising Ceremony to celebrate the start of Pride Month in Boston! The event will take place on June 2nd from 12:00â1:30 PM at City Hall.

Boston City Councilor At-Large Henry Santana's office has invited the community to join a special Pride Celebration at Boston City Hall on Wednesday, June 4th from 10am to 2pm. PIOW is one of over 30 organizations co-hosting this event, along with a number of our community partners. Check here for more details and join us there.

Boston Pride for the People: Get Involved!
Boston Pride for the People has announced this yearâs Pride theme - âHere to Stayâ a message of resilience and defiance in the face of increased political attacks on LGBTQIA+ communities and people. As excitement builds for the Pride Parade and Festival on June 14, theyâre calling on supporters to volunteer and donate to help make this yearâs celebration a success.

Boston Black Pride - June 29-July 6th
Celebrate Black Pride with PIOW!
We're proud to support our community partner, the Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation, for this yearâs Black Pride celebrationâan incredible series of events uplifting the voices and experiences of Black LGBTQ+ individuals.
PIOW will be volunteering at the Black Pride Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, July 6, and weâd love to have your ERG join us or you can come solo!

Mass Transgender Political Coalition
MTPC is excited to announce the launch of our MA Trans Interfaith Network (MTIN)! MTIN brings together faith leaders across Massachusetts to support the rights, dignity, and lived equity of transgender and nonbinary people through policy advocacy, collaborative strategy, community engagement, and more.
