We're down to just 4 days until the end of our June Pride Month appeal! We're celebrating 55 incredible years of Pride with a goal of raising $5500 for PIOW.
We're only $2,100 away from reaching our goal, and we need your help to get us across the finish line. Every single donation, big or small, helps us continue our important work. Executive Brief - Ensuring Safety for the LGBTQ+ Community
đ Executive Brief Now Available
In April, Pride in Our Workplace partnered with the Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation to host a powerful panel discussion on "Ensuring Safety for the LGBTQ+ Community: Protecting Our Rights in Workplaces & Beyond."
The event brought together leading voices from advocacy, healthcare, government, and legal fields to address urgent questions around personal safety, legal protections, and the compounding risks faced by LGBTQ+ individualsâparticularly Black and trans members of our community.

Boston Black Pride - June 29-July 6th
Celebrate Black Pride with PIOW!
We're proud to support our community partner, the Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation, for this yearâs Black Pride celebrationâan incredible series of events uplifting the voices and experiences of Black LGBTQ+ individuals.
PIOW will be volunteering at the Black Pride Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, July 6, and weâd love to have you join us or invite your whole ERG!

Mass Transgender Political Coalition
Join for our PRIDE SALON on Friday, June 27th. Doors open at 6:30pm, with musical program with special guest, Singer-Songwriter Jessye DeSilva at 8:00pm. It will be an evening of music, activism, and PRIDE in support of MTPC.

The History Project
Join How to Do Queer History, a three-part skill-building course designed to empower participants with the tools to uncover, document, and share LGBTQIA2S+ history. This collaboration between Kimm Topping at Lavender Education and The History Project will provide an overview of queer and trans history, giving you the skills to engage with oral histories, community archives, and public storytelling.
Join us on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 7:00 PM ET for a live virtual conversation with author and educator Milo Todd about his debut novel, The Lilac People â a moving, trans-led story of survival, identity, and found family in 1930s Berlin. Inspired by real LGBTQ+ lives lost to history, this haunting novel brings to light a forgotten legacy of queer and trans resilience.
Mayor's Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement
Come celebrate Pride with us on Sat, June 28 from 8-11pm atthe Museum of Science. The Mayorâs Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement (MOLA) and the Museum of Science invite Bostonâs LGBTQ+ community and their loved ones to an evening that celebrates Pride, uplifts the spectrum of beauty, and highlights the world of science with music and live performances including The Femmes Band! The Chamber is hosting their 1st Annual Golf Outing this Friday, June 27 at Green Hill Golf Course in Worcester. You can choose to golf, or just join for lunch/networking with DJ and Drag Performers. Sounds like a blast!
